Jiujiang University Celebrates Graduation Ceremony for Class of 2025

June 21, 2025 - Jiujiang University proudly held its commencement ceremony today to honor the achievements of the 2025 graduating class. The event, held at the university's Grand Auditorium, celebrated 7,768 students who successfully completed their academic journeys.

The ceremony began with a procession of faculty members and graduating students dressed in academic regalia. University President CHEN Xiaolin delivered an inspiring address, congratulating graduates on their resilience and encouraging them to become pioneers in their respective fields.

"This class has shown remarkable adaptability during challenging times," said CHEN. "You leave Jiujiang University not just with degrees, but with the problem-solving skills and global perspective needed in today's world."

As the ceremony concluded, President Chen reminded graduates: "Wherever you go, you will always be part of Jiujiang’s family. Come back often—the gates of your alma mater will always be open."

The ceremony featured several highlights:

Distinguished alumnus LEN Jianjun, a Doctor from a Hospital at Beijing, gave a keynote speech; Outstanding graduate ZHANG Jiayi represented the class as a student speaker.

The ceremony featured with degree conferral, followed by group photos with the Chair of the Board LI Mingbin, President CHEN Xiaolin, Vice President LEI Zhiqiang.

For many graduates, the event marked both an ending and a beginning. "These six years have transformed me," said Om Dharmeshkumar Upadhyay (睿梵) , an international student major in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. "Jiujiang University gave me more than an education—it gave me a second home." He was honored as one of the university’s "Outstanding Graduates of 2025" alongside 11 other students.
